So I decided I would call this "dreamy quasibeach pop (beachy in Nova Scotia maybe)" well they're from Brighton, Mass...I was close. The internets [via last.fm] describes this as 'deteriorated pop made in a closet' and invokes genres such as "psych-pop, new wave, post punk, and shoegaze". I'll bend a little on the psych-pop. In fact I feel like this isn't quite dream or psych-pop, a sort of hybrid. As for those other labels?...NO. Decide for yourself
